WELCOME
Dear Collegues,
It is our great pleasure to officially announce one of the most exciting events of the upcoming year, the 15th Danube Symposium of the ORL Danube Society.
The last successful 14th conference in the 30-year history of the Danube Symposia was held in Krems in 2018, when we re-organised the Danube Society. The new Presidency immediately applied for and won the membership of the Associated Societies of the Confederation of the European Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (CEORL-HNS).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the busy congress programme it caused, we were forced to postpone the planned date of the 15th Danube Symposium by one and a half years.
After a prolonged hiatus, we are thrilled to host this congress once again in the enchanting city of Budapest, at the magnificent Ensana Hotel on Margaret Island. Our goal is to bring together medical luminaries and enthusiasts to deliberate on the most pertinent and pressing topics in our field.
In the wake of the challenges posed by the global pandemic, we recognize the immense value and necessity of coming together in person to share knowledge. The choice of the Margaret Island venue additionally emphasizes the importance of this symposium, given that the Danube River has consistently played a pivotal role in our meetings.
Throughout the congress, we have prepared a series of exceptional programs for your staying. We will commence with the Opening Reception, hosted within the elegant environs of the Margaret Island Ensana Hotel, providing a fitting welcome to our distinguished participants. The Gala Dinner, a highlight of the event, will be a memorable evening of fine dining complemented by a Danube River cruise, affording panoramic views of Budapest’s iconic landmarks.
On the final day of the congress, an opportunity awaits to participate in a guided tour of the Buda Castle district, including visits to selected exhibitions at the Hungarian National Gallery. Our intention is to offer a truly immersive experience, not only in terms of professional development but also by facilitating an exploration of Budapest’s cultural treasures.
During the event, we will address the most crucial, current, and compelling medical themes. We are confident that each participant will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements and trends in the field of medical science.
We extend a warm invitation to join us at the 15th Danube Symposium of the ORL Danube Society, as we collectively shape the future directions of healthcare and forge deeper connections within our professional community.
Yours sincerely,
